A surprising gem
I've been an avid reader of cookbooks on my iPad and this is really one of the best Ive come across. It doesn't beat around the bush and it is perfect to use as you cook - the step-by-step instructions are very precise and easy to follow.
The recipes are an eclectic mix ranging from Korean and Japanese to Italian and American. Even the exotic dishes are based on simple ingredients that can be readily made. I never realised making kimchi could be so easy! This book definitely meets all my culinary demands.
The only downside i see is that the book looks somewhat amateurishly made. But then again it conveys the home-cook style of its recipes.
