"What?" Naomi gasped. "I'm not going anywhere with you!"

"What—what are you—" she whispered, as her eyes drooped. She slumped forward into his arms.
Cradling her, he moved over to the window, and leapt out.

Shadow descendant
The book dragged on in multiple areas. It put to much emphasis on her relationship instead of the plot. It was like the author got tired of writing half way through. Then at the climax of the conflict, when everything was finally exciting and held your attention well, there was no detail at all. The fight scene was over before anything really juicy came of it. Again, like the author was tired. I had to drag myself through the bulk of the book, I won’t be getting the second.
