Good, but...
I *WISH* I could have given this five stars, but I can’t. Feehan missed the mark on the pacing of this one. The build up of the plot/action is fantastic, but the climax is completely unsatisfying. It’s over far too quickly, and the denouement is too long. Up until the last two chapters or so, she absolutely had me, and I’ll be watching for Shadow Warrior, but the balance of romance/action in this one is off.
Another great installment in this series!
I enjoyed Giovanni and Sasha’s story, with one exception…too much sex and not enough action! I have read or listened to this series five times and this is the only book that I forward through the sex scenes! Too many that and they add NOTHING to the story. However, I am staying loyal to Christine’s artistry. Also, Where is Francesca’s best friend Joanna Masci?
