Outdated
The characters were ok, but either the author is elderly and completely unaware of the lawsuits this relationship would bring or she just hasn’t experienced the real workforce. Lexi would have lost her job if she were in a relationship with her boss. It has nothing to do with rumors and everything to do with policy and legality. Unless your novel is set in the 1940’s, let’s pay a little more attention, yeah?
