Publisher Description
Sherman’s Lagoon is an imaginary lagoon somewhere in the tropics, inhabited by a cast of sea creatures whose lives are curiously similar to our own. Through his comic strip, cartoonist Jim Toomey explores many of the issues that we face daily in our world on dry land. By putting them in a different context, he helps us laugh at ourselves. His characters attempt new business ventures, go on disastrous dates, try fad diets and read the latest best-selling books. But, they also have problems that are unique to fish. Should you bring shrimp to the holiday party? Will shrimp be there?
Customer Reviews
Short but sweet
Another reviewer complained that he couldn't navigate the pages. I had trouble too until I figured out how to do it. You have to be patient because there's a lag before the page actually turns. That said, these Sherman comics are fun and look good on my iPod. The zoom feature works well and the pages scan smoothly. However, you only get a small number of pages...much less than in a print version. But then it's only 99 cents. You get what you pay for.

Running latest version of iOS, but pages will not turn, and it will not let me scroll to the right to see the pages. Maybe someone else won't have this problem, but I'm disappointed in this purchase
