One of the best series in lesfic/crime/ thrillers
Read A Matter of Trust first. It is a prequel to this and really helps to know Sloan & Michael from the beginning for this series. Actually, you could read it 2nd, but if you read this one first you won’t want to stop in this series and might miss it. I love their relationship as much as Catherine & Rebecca and all the others. ( I think there are maybe 4 major relationships that evolve throughout. All of them so well done. This is the kind of quality I’ve learned to expect from all of RadclyFfe’s books and series. The best! I think I’ve read each series about 5 times now & always enjoy them each time. I just hope she’s not done with them. I know they show up in the latest Honor series (#10?), and Mitch guests in a Provincetown book, but I want to see the HPCU all together again. ~ castaway

Awesome Series !!! Reading the fifth and final book. Also read the Cops & Docs series. I am an avid reader my preferred choice is usually a good cop or crime books. Being that I am a retired Cop. Lol
