Publisher Description
New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author Emily March serves up love and laughter in this delicious historical romance that the Denver Rocky Mountain News called a "wonderful, delightful, and gratifying book that is not to be missed."
A Chili Queen in England
Independent daughter of socially prominent Texans, Christina Delaney stirs up scandal along with her spicy Texas Red when she's crowned Chili Queen of San Antonio. Her family reacts to this culinary coronation by packing her off to live with her grandfather on his English estate, hoping to transform Chrissy from Chili Queen to Countess. Never mind the fact that what she longs for is a modest home and loving family deep in the heart of Texas.
A Texan with a Craving
Born British but reared Texan, Cole Morgan would do anything for the Delaney family, even escort the incorrigible Christina to England. Besides, he has his own agenda abroad: to locate the missing copy of the Republic of Texas' Declaration of Independence. But when a viscount offers Christina marriage, Cole is forced to see that the girl he grew up with is now a woman whose fiery passion—and love—he craves. So he sets out to win her and, in the process, proves that only he can make the Chili Queen...

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Dawson (The Wedding Raffle) offers a breezy glimpse of Victorian England through the eyes of two Texans in a romance buoyed by lively characters and Southern lore. When perpetual rebel Christina Delaney's unorthodox behavior gets her into trouble with her aristocratic San Antonio family, her parents send her to visit her grandfather in Derbyshire, England, accompanied by family friend Cole Morgan, with whom she has a love-hate relationship. After making and breaking a marriage engagement, Chrissy realizes she's been in love with Cole all along. The only thing standing in her way is her rebellious nature: her mother would love for her to marry Cole. Cole and Chrissy's squabbles wear thin, and their repeated couplings and breakups seem childish; however, a dramatic twist adds some much-needed action, and Dawson sustains readers' attention with her humorous dialogue and colorful narration.

One of the best
Wonderful story, funny, romantic and sexy! Is an extraordinary book, I truly recommended ! One of my favorites so far, love the characters and the story line.
Amazing!
I'll likely be reading it again.
Too dragging..
Endless argument s between the main characters is really annoying and drains out readers interest to continue reading after few chapters .. Don't bother..
