Lighthearted humor with a touch of angst
She's from a wealthy family with high expectations of how to behave and who to marry. He's from the wrong side of the tracks just trying to take care of his mother's needs. They say opposites attract but this doesn't seem like it could work no matter what. No less that their relationship started with a major secret.
There were several aspects of this story that I truly enjoyed. First, she is giving back to the less fortunate via her photography. I love that she gives the mothers of the children she photographs copies of the pictures for them to also enjoy. It's not all about the almighty dollar for Gracie. Second, she is determined to stand on her own two feet without her family's influence, connection or money. And, finally, the matchmaking gran. How could you not love Emma and her need to see her grandchildren happy and settled down? No, she should not have done it, but how could you fault her for it.
This book contains humor and angst, but Emma lightens the mood. Both with Gracie and Ben.

I am loving the Simply series. I enjoyed both Ben and Grace. Of course Grandma Emma is a hoot as usual.
