Sindh Minimum Wages Notification for Skilled Workers - Government of Sindh Labour Department

NOTIFICATION No. L-II-13-4/78: Whereas in pursuance of the provisions of Section 5 of the Minimum Wages Ordinance, 1961 (Ordinance No. XXXIX of 1961) the Government of Sindh directed the Minimum Wages Board, Sindh (hereinafter referred to as the Board) to recommend the minimum rates of wages for all categories of workers employed in 40 industries in the Province of Sindh keeping in view of the 16.66% of increase in the minimum wages of unskilled workers as per announcement of the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan made on 01.05.2010 while addressing to a worker's convention (from its existing rate Rs. 6,000/- per month to Rs. 7,000/- per month).
