Annie Wilson was thinking about Bob Kowalski again. Bob was a malicious lawyer with moist fingernails and solid toes.
Annie walked over to the window and reflected on her urban surroundings. She had always loved sleepy Truro with its tart, teeny-tiny tunnels. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel calm.
