Lighthearted story
A lighthearted story. I enjoyed the characters, the connection and banter. It’s an entertaining storyline and easy fun read.
Great characters and storyline.
Brooke had an affair with her boss, how do you break up with your boss?
“For the first time in her life, she’d made the mistake of sleeping with the boss. And it had cost her a promotion, not to mention a sense of self-respect.”
Now what? Where does she go from here?
Billy is a retired pro baseball pitcher looking for a new career. His grandfather thinks he should buy a vineyard. Unfortunately he buys the vineyard Brooke wanted. Billy offers her a job as general manager. Can they make the old vineyard into a prize winning vineyard together?
*Adult situations but not too graphic.
