Publisher Description
The bestselling gay romance novel that will leave your heart shaken!
Love, like everything in the universe, cannot be destroyed. But over time it can change.
The hot Texas nights were lonely for Ben before his heart began beating to the rhythm of two words; Tim Wyman. By all appearances, Tim had the perfect body and ideal life, but when a not-so-accidental collision brings them together, Ben discovers that the truth is rarely so simple. If winning Tim's heart was an impossible quest, keeping it would prove even harder as family, society, and emotion threaten to tear them apart.
Something Like Summer is a love story spanning a decade and beyond as two young men discover what it means to be friends, lovers, and sometimes even enemies.

My thoughts
This is probably the best book I have ever read. The detail of the love and lust between Ben and Tim is unmatched by any other tale I have read. I felt a roller coaster of emotions when reading this book. I really hope that I can find another book as compelling and well wrote as this one. It took me 4 days to read this thing non stop. I'm glad that I finished, but sad the story is over. I recommend this book to anyone, gay or straight.
Great read, Thanks Jay!
One can only hope to find love like Ben! Jay Bell does a great job capturing the audience. After reading this book I am excited to read what Bell's imagination has to offer. As a gay 23 year old, hopeless romantic I can only wish that I find love like Ben. Thanks Jay Bell for giving my dreams a chance to come to life through every page of your novels!
Amazingly Great Story!
I just finished reading this book and I had to write a review once I got to the end. What i love about this book is how you can really relate to these characters and I was truly captivated by each of them. I wish it went on, but that's another thing I love about our thinking abilities because each of us gets to create what could or would happen after the ending of the book. One thing to add is to maybe have a tissue nearby because the author did really well on hitting each emotion. Thank you Jay Bell for writing one of the best novels I've read this year and I hope you guys who read these reviews wondering if you should get this book, well I hope you do because you will be wanting to read more after you're done.
