Great book.
I bought this book 2 months after buying the Nex-6 and never making it through the long owners manual. I love the camera but only touched the surface of what this camera can do.
My photography background was as a hobbyist with film SLRs. When the digital age came I stuck with simple point-and- shoot cameras so many of the features of this camera were foreign to me. I really needed a tutorial on digital photography as well.
Jerod Foster is not just a great photographer but also a great teacher of photography.
This book not only explains how to use this camera but also discusses concepts and how to take great pictures.
You will feel like you are in one of Professor Fosters classes. He even gives "assignments" at the end of chapters!
I haven't finished the book and don't think I've taken any great pictures yet, but I am getting better.
The sad thing is, if I don't ever take good pictures, I won't have a good excuse. A great camera and a good instructor. Maybe I will take up painting then!
