Abstract: Since the era of the Quiet Revolution , new denominational components have established worship locations and institutional structures, thus transforming the religious landscape in Montreal. This article aims at showing the relationship between the religious areas and the various types of religious culture which belong to the Montreal's urban landscape. It does so in taking into account the challenge of sharing as peacefully as possible a common public space. Given the well anchored pluralism of faiths and religious beliefs which is undeniably part of the religious identity of Montreal, one can notice the richness and vast diversity of the religious heritage in Montreal.
