Reread this book for the third time
I first read this series in its entirety in 1988 in paperback at full price per book. I thought it was worth it then, and though in ebook format this time and a bit less expensive, still a great read and a good value. Griffin remains one of my all time favorite authors, and reading his books for the first or multiple times is always a treat.
Not one of Griffins best efforts…
Not one of Griffins best efforts. The C-46 mentioned throughout Special Ops was not manufactured by Boeing. Manufactured by Curtis Aircraft just prior to WWII , as the Curtis Commando, used primarily to fly thr Hump into and out of China.
This is the second reading and it didn't get any better!
W.E.B. Griffin is great, but his ebook editors are illiterate
I've always enjoyed his books, but it seems all his ebooks are re-typed and edited by non native English speakers. The errors are numerous.
