'The perfect witchy romance, I LOVED it!' Reader review
Bryn swore she would never go back to Grimoire Academy. But when her beloved former Professor passes away and leaves her prize spellbook library to Bryn, she's forced to return.
Bryn isn't planning on staying long, but then she runs into former queen of Grimoire Academy, Amelia Hexford, now headmistress. When Amelia begs Bryn to stay and teach the former professor's classes, Bryn's so flustered by the beautiful witch, that she accidentally agrees to stay for the semester.
Amelia was always too cool for Bryn at school, but now, the staffroom is too small a place to hide in. As the unlikely pair spend more time together, Bryn and Amelia might just find themselves spellbound by something other than magic…

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Awkward outcast Bryn Delmar, a siren, never wanted to return to supernatural Grimoire Academy, but the death of a beloved professor at the start of Willow's frothy debut, a light academia rom-com, leaves her no choice. She plans to quickly retrieve the spellbook library he left to her, but Amelia Hexford, the academy's new headmistress and Bryn's school crush, begs Bryn to stay on as a temporary professor and help her get through the semester. More mesmerized by the beautiful witch than ever, Bryn can't help but agree. Thrown into the chaos of teaching, Bryn sees her already low self-confidence plummet further as she worries she's failing both Amelia and her students. Still, spending time with Amelia is a balm to her frayed nerves, and the longer she stays at Grimoire Academy, the more Bryn begins to feel like she may finally be able to call this place home. Willow's breezy and imminently readable prose pairs well with the cozy, witchy setting, but several plotlines and worldbuilding elements, especially Bryn's siren heritage, go frustratingly underexplored. There's not much emotional depth, but readers looking for magic-filled sapphic romance will still find plenty to enjoy.
