DIVINE RETRIBUTION
Everyone has secrets. Especially a Navy SEAL. But Spencer has found the one man who seems to be hiding more than him. And that just doesn’t fly.
Rick reinvented his life fifteen years ago, and has no intention of revealing why. But, in the back of his mind he’s been waiting for the other shoe to fall, and now it has.
Certain he has to get far, far away from the former Navy SEALS who make up LH Investigations, Rick learns they take loyalty and friendship to a new level.
But that doesn’t solve his heartbreaking problem: He’s got it bad for Spence and there’s no way he’s going to let the clever IT specialist anywhere near the shame he’s harbored for half his life.

I'm so mad I jumped into this series late I definitely want to go back and read books 1-3 just to see what else is in store for the team.
I don’t know what it is about this line “Eating like teenagers was a surefire way to ensure none of them would age well,” that brought a smile to my face but the smile is there. In my head I’m just thinking about how the characters behaved with one another and how tight knit the team is. I love a good found family story and this read is perfect.
This book came with the drama and was not playing any games about it either. Starting a few pages in and I already have questions and I want answers. This story is truly a page turner the shock and surprise that I had while reading this is unrivaled.
Rick enters in as some kind of soft light poster boy for good behavior but the more you read the more you realize that Rick’s seen some things, heard some things, and did even more. Rick is the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
