Customer Reviews
The story has potential
The story line was headed in a good directions but the author used some of the same phrases over and over to describe interactions between Roach & Harper. Too many lines about Roaches cigarette or smell of its smoke. Also repeating numerous times that Harper was thinking that she shouldn’t be comforted by his presence or words, but strangely she was🤦♀️. I’m sure like me, other readers got what the author was implying after the third time she made that reference. I stuck with it, but the ending just fell flat.
