Can the magic of the stars heal Celeste Dawson’s tormented heart? Single father Brodie Dunn will put his heart on the line to find out.
Two months after her husband’s violent death, Celeste is teetering on the edge, and she can’t engage in the art that was once her escape from the world. She desperately needs a tranquil place to rebuild herself. An extended visit with her friend in Northstar will give her that… and her charming new neighbor might give her something even better.
Celeste is trouble Brodie doesn’t need, but he’s been where she is and he can’t leave her alone to suffer. As he coaxes her out of the shadows, he discovers a heart as beautiful and mesmerizing as the stars. Celeste could be his perfect match, but will his apparent inability to take anything seriously drive her mad before he can prove it?
Find out why readers are saying that “picking up a new book in this series is like coming home”… don’t miss the rest of the books in the Northstar series:
A NOTE ON THE CONTENT: The Northstar books are contemporary romances and contain some profanity and sensual scenes that may not be suitable for sensitive readers.
Two thumbs up
Love the story of Celeste and Brodie. What a patient loving man Brodie is and how he carefully led Celeste to let go of the pain she endured in her first marriage. I enjoyed every page of this book!!
This one's a keeper!
Starlight Magic is another wonderfully written story by Suzie O'Connell. Although, I might be a bit bias since I love all her books, especially the Northstar series. However, this story does not fail to capture the reader as you see how Celeste, with the ever thoughtful, loving, and caring Brodie, along with his charming son Brandon, overcomes an abusive past to learn how to be happy once more.
Suzie O'Connell never disappoints! I loved this book.
