Great Prequel
Welp…once again Claudia Burgoa has managed to put me on the edge of my seat by bringing in Lake as a main character (the daughter of Anderson and Aspen, from Until I Fall which is an outstanding standalone) to introduce her new Heartwood Lake series. Although it’s been a while since we’ve heard from this family, I was beyond excited to read this prequel that has new characters, with a fresh storyline and provides just the right amount of intrigue that I know will lead to an even better series. And trust me, I can’t wait to find out more about the hero, Callahan Thorndale.
