Good book for starters and for refresh
I chose to read "Statistics for Beginners" to revisit elementary statistics.
As with "Finance for Beginners" also by Global Finance School, I found this book has an easy way of connecting with the reader. With the simple explanations and good examples, it is successful in rendering comfort with data and probability. I would recommend anyone wishing to refresh or begin learning statistics to take advantage of this book. Especially for new perspective on viewing some of the topics involved. For instance, I found the description for probability in terms of areas quite tangible.
