While we traditionally find these transactions as complicated and meant only for the bigwigs, the author makes us realize that we can also succeed in these fields with the right combination of knowledge and strategies, other than bare luck. It teaches us how to get started in the business, when to buy or sell investments, techniques in trading, playing with interest rates, minimizing risks, maximizing profits, and many more. Personally, I find stock exchange and bonds as good investments. The book has provided me with the much-needed introduction to these concepts, as well as the idea on how to move further.

This is a great beginner course in the Stock Market. It assumes that you know nothing starts with the basics. I really appreciate the fact that each term is clearly defined on the page where it first appears- I didn't have to waste my time flipping back and forth to the glossary. Each calculation is also followed by a chart- some people like word problems, some people don't. I'll take the chart every time!

I've always assumed that the stock market was too complicated for me. While it is complicated, Stock Market for Beginners breaks it down into easily processed pieces. This book took me from the definition of a stock through how stock is created and stockholder rights all the way to trading stocks. There's a huge amount of information here- even when I move on to an intermediate book, I'll keep this one as a resource. I can't recommend it enough!
