Forgiveness is the endgame
Intriguing storyline. I wasn’t prepared to enjoy it as much as I did. A couple of setbacks in solving the puzzle as a result of well developed twists. Decent read for a dreary day in bed!
SO RELATABLE
The moment Alex says, “I never wanted to be a mother, but now I would die for her,” …. She had me! This is the first time I’ve seen it said out loud; I am the mother of two and my thoughts exactly! This story is so understandable from Alex’s point of view while still keeping the reader guessing til the end. Kept me up til 4 am!
A twist I did not see coming!
What a great book! You don’t know whether to love or hate the protagonist, Alex. I was so angry at her for leaving her daughter alone on the beach, but as the story progressed, one has to admire her determination to find out what happened to her little girl. There were so many
possible scenarios and likely suspects, this was a hard to put down book. Well worth the read!
