Stone Walls

Bobby DiFranco erects walls. Stone walls in the gardens and landscapes he designs, walls to contain his emotions, walls to hide secrets. He has overcome enormous challenges to create the life he has now: a wife he adores, three fine children, a home that fills him with pride.

 

Joelle Webber was Bobby’s best friend when they were growing up on the wrong side of the tracks. They leaned on each other, rescued each other, helped each other escape their hardscrabble roots. Bobby could never have accomplished his success if he hadn’t married Joelle. Joelle’s life would have been a desperate struggle if she hadn’t married Bobby. Whatever they have, they built it together.

 

But when a man from Joelle’s past appears on their doorstep, Bobby and Joelle realize how vulnerable those walls are, how quickly they could crumble, how easily the truth could break free and destroy everything they love.
