Her books are sexy, fabulously romantic, and FUNNY! Her ideas are unique and well researched, and her characters are REAL. I promise you will personally know someone with the same traits of her characters and laugh out loud!! I also love how I connect with and feel the emotion of her characters so deeply.

Marina’s voice and language is brilliantly well crafted . Marina articulates and builds the story with precision organization and it all unfolds so beautifully… She expresses her ideas clearly, and solves the “problem” with exceptional expertise that I anxiously await the outcome!

I love how her books are thought provoking, as well as emotionally inspiring to have us reflect on our own personal romantic lives.

Marina Adair is by far my FAVORITE author! When I complete a book, I anxiously anticipate her next book release!

After the Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis ended, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to embrace another small town series. I loved the quirk and side characters so much that I was sure that I would not find another set of books that could make me come back again and again. Well, guess what? I was wrong and couldn’t be more happy about it. The town of Sugar is filled with quite the cast of characters, including…wait for it…The Pit Crew Mafia. I could explain, but why ruin the fun for you.

In Sugar on Top, we are introduced to Glory Mann and Cal McGraw. As all good small town romances start, these two have known each other for years. Glory is best friends with Cal’s brother, but never thought that he would ever be interested in her. Cal is a single parent trying to raise his daughter without the distraction of another woman in his life. He wants no more drama and thinks that, Glory is just that. However, after being thrown into co-chairing the Miss Peach Pageant and Sugar Pull by judges orders, the sparks start to fly.

From page one until the end to end, I loved every minute of this book. How can you not instantly fall in love with a book that starts out with grand theft auto of a tractor and throwing cow pies at the Sherif?!? Where the author came up with that scene, I don’t know, but it was brilliant and funny as hell. However, what I loved about the story Marina Adair gives us the most is the heart behind the characters and their actions. Glory’s fear of not being enough for someone, let alone the man she loves, and Cal’s fear in having yet another person walk out on him are real emotions. We all have fears like these and the reader can relate to where these two are coming from.

Throughout the pages, the author offers us a touch of Southern life in this book with a just the right about of antics, sweetness, and sexiness. All I have to say is that if you take a trip to Sugar, Georgia, you will not be disappointed.
