Publisher Description
Summer Magic is book one in the award-winning Thorne Witches series. It's a small-town romance where an extraordinary witch and one infuriatingly handsome sheriff collide in a second chance neither saw coming.
Life in a small town can be rough. It’s even tougher when you’re a witch whose magic regularly backfires. But veterinarian and animal activist Summer Thorne wants only one thing: to create the perfect sanctuary for unwanted animals. Nothing and no one is going to stop her. Not even the sexy sheriff who is determined to shut down her rescue center, and certainly not the laboratory where she liberated her traumatized chimpanzee, Morty.
Sheriff Cooper Carlyle is a stickler for the rules, and his primary objective is to keep his town safe. That includes his stubborn neighbor, Summer, whether she wants him to or not. When her mischievous menagerie wreaks havoc across town again, he’s done playing nice. But things aren’t always as they appear, and he stumbles upon the secret the Thorne family has been hiding for decades.
When the ruthless owner of the animal lab comes knocking, seeking clues to a riddle residing only in Morty’s mind, a seventeen-year mystery is uncovered. Coop is faced with the choice to either enforce the law or break it to protect the woman he’s fallen for.
📚 This semi-spicy paranormal romance is perfect for fans of witch romance books with a hint of mystery, snark, and adventure. Recommended for adults 18 and over due to content and language.

Summer Magic
Funny, riveting, evocative, and enchanting, this is a lovely tale of the trials that love can go through, even when it is the true, soulmate type of love. It makes me want to read more on the “Weird Seasons Sisters. “
Summer Magic-Cute
I found this book to be cute, funny, and having some interesting twists. In my opinion some of the drama between the two main characters could have been shortened so that more of the plot could be resolved without having such a large cliffhanger.
Loved it!!
Super excited to read the rest of the series!!
