Ups and downs of love
Kylie is dating Malcolm, but is having trouble sharing in the excitement Malcolm feels with the opening of his ski resort Stone Summit. Malcolm has money, and Kylie works in a bar. She feels like Malcolm is just using her for her experience in serving and keeping customers happy.
Kylie decides that they need a break, and Malcolm struggles with his feelings of jealousy when his twin brother arrives on the scene. Through help from his friends, Malcolm starts to see that he has focused on his dreams, while Kylie has forgotten about hers.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was glad to see a book about the real struggles in a relationship, and a couple willing to work on it together.
A Promising Start
This is a wonderfully written story that had me hooked from the start. Kylie's concerns over losing her identity were easy to relate to. The fact that she had previously dated Malcom's twin was intriguing. The story is an enjoyably sweet and quick read. I love how we learn a little about the next couple to have their own story told in the next installment of a this trilogy. And, how the epilogue is a preview of things to come.

Very good book
Very good book! Malcolm and Kylie had ups and downs in their relationship just like many do. This is a story of romance, friendship, and growth. There were times that Malcolm's jealousy without talking to Kylie, would make me want to throttle him, but I guess it makes the story good when you get involved with the characters. The steamy parts are written well, as is the entire book. I personally would have liked a lot less description of those scenes, but that is just my preference. I would recommend this book.
