Sweet Temptation by Cora Kent is like diving into an emotional rollercoaster, and I couldn’t get enough. Jackson Reid is driven by revenge, wanting to make his absentee dad, Malcolm McCade, pay for ditching him and his mom. Then there’s Carrie Pennington, stuck in a messy affair with Malcolm, hoping his wealth will bring her some stability.
Jackson’s all about sneaking into his dad’s life under a fake name to destroy everything Malcolm holds dear. Meanwhile, Carrie’s torn between her feelings for Malcolm and the hope that he’ll finally leave his wife for her. Their lives intertwine in the most intense ways.
The characters are so well fleshed out that you can’t help but feel their struggles. Jackson’s cunning plans and Carrie’s heartfelt dilemmas keep the pages turning. If you're into stories with deep, complex characters and a blend of revenge and emotional drama, you should definitely check out Sweet Temptation.

This is was a very good intro into Sweet Revenge. Jackson Reid has just learned recently who is father is. A wealthy divorce attorney by the name of Malcom. He has been learning everything he can for the last 6 months, planning and waiting to make is presence known. And today is the day, after 20 years Malcolm is gonna know he exists.
Carrie Pennington is seeing a marry man and decides she needs to tell her daughter that she is seeing her divorce attorney.
We are given the glimpse of Jackson’s plans to get at his father. And the weight of Carrie’s actions on her daughter. This whole series is intense.
