Taken and Teased

I really adore this series. This one was a little brutal at times, but the characters are strong and resilient and manage to overcome. It’s well written, engaging, interesting, and at several instances managed to surprise me, which is no small feat. I love the dark tone and the sense of foreboding. The characters have an instant chemistry that’s irresistible, so they don’t deny it or waste time fighting it. Their love and dedication are refreshing in the face of such a harsh world. Every book in this amazing series pulls me in further. Well done!

There were a few interesting bits in this story. The alpha has unique special bits that sounds a little terrifying to me, but he’s quite sweet. I’m super curious about what was being done with Veena and the others with her and hope we found out more in the future.

These two have so much chemistry it explodes. So Fek literally is a monster with no boundaries when he becomes aware of his omega. But Veena has such an inner strength likely caused by her time in captivity with the ISC. I do have to say I enjoyed the brutality in which Fek treated the ISC agents. I’ve been waiting for them to get a little of what’s coming to them. Series keeps getting better and each story has their own unique twists, VT’s imagination amazes me.
