Good story line. Kept me interested and looking forward to the next book!
Our heroine gets tossed in problem after problem after problem, and it’s too much. Bad past, un resolved issues, real loner with major trust issues. Yes we see the results of that, but she never seems to really grow from the experiences. Maybe that’s what disappoints most, the author throwing all these great learning scenarios at our would be hero, and yet never either really explains why she has such a hard time with them, nor develops much till the very end. No real group of people working together, just one person griping over and over why she has to go it alone.
