4.5 ⭐️ Great regency romance
Another great regency romance from this amazing author! As with all of her books, once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed the storyline as well as writing and all characters.
Jemima was absolutely great and I loved her character. Marcus seemed a bit hard to like, especially since he made Jemima believe she was to be married to a horrible old man. It took a bit too long for him to get to his senses, but it worked out in the end. It was really amusing, and also frustrating, reading how they misunderstood each other at every turn and always seemed to make rushed and wrong conclusions.
I loved the ending, it was really sweet and just perfect for their HEA.
