Ava is a widow and apothecary assistant.
Set in the late 1880’s there is a paranormal twist. She tries to keep her visions at bay but longs for an emotional connection. She’s descended from witches.
Douglas is an American doctor and descended from witch hunters. He, of course, is possessed by a witch hunting baddie. Just when Douglas and Ava want to you know, be close.
