There are choices that change a life forever. I know with complete certainty my life would have been very different if I'd chosen another path. But I didn't. I chose Sean. In the moments he's missing, the remnants of my world topple. Peter is a pillar of strength, but he's still a Ferro through and through. If I don't go after Marty alone, I risk Peter reverting to the man he once was. If I do go alone, I may never come back. My life pivots on a pinhead, forcing me to again choose between logic and love.

Customer Reviews
YES!!
So awesome! I love how H.M. Ward is slowly making the connections. Seriously twisted, seriously clever, seriously intense! Avery and Sean have overcome so many obstacles but will they have their HEA? Can Avery survive anymore setbacks? Will Sean ever recover from his demons? Holly you continue to work effortlessly for your readers. Thank you for another outstanding installment! AR 17 is a must read!
A twisty plot path that keeps you spinning
In this installment there are plenty of twist and turns to keep your head spinning. Avery struggles to try and save Sean's soul and our dark sexy hero, Sean is vying to save Avery from himself. It is everything you come to expect in one of Ward's highly addictive serial additions. And of course the end delivers you into cliffhanger Hell/Heaven however you look at it.
Disappointing story turn
No spoilers --- I'll just say that the twist in the plot of this book was disappointing and felt like it came out of the blue. I also agree with others that serial novels don't really feel like an alternate reading choice, but just a way to charge more for books. These books end up costing more with no resolution at the end, but rather cliff hangers. Definitely keeps a reader coming back for more, but I can't say I'm happy about it! Wish this series would have a conclusion at this point I feel so frustrated with it. And not a rushed conclusion either.
