Loved Every Word
I seriously don't know where to start. I knew I was in love with Pete Ferro before #9, but this story sealed the deal. This series has actually topped what was my favorite & I am so sad to know it's almost over. I knew there would be some swoon worthy moments with Pete, as well as some douchebag ones, and I knew there would some feisty, fun Gina moments, as well as some smacking myself in the head moments as to why she did or didn't do something, but I NEVER saw that coming with Phillip....Never!!! Holly manages to surprise me with each & every series!!! Love Gina & Pete. Another fantastic installment!!!!
Anything but your typical love story!!

This book should totally come with a disclaimer! I swear, if you are not already in love with the infamous Peter Ferro, I can guarantee you will be after reading LBD9!!
LBD9 is anything but your typical love story. The last installment ended abruptly when Gina & Peter were rudely interrupted by the woman scantily covered in nothing but a sheet and a smile. For the sake of Gina's ego, I can only hope it was the fitted bottom sheet so it would be slightly less sexy.. LBD9 picks up with Gina not only running from Peter physically, but emotionally as well when she realizes how strongly the situation affected her. In an attempt to sort out her feelings while simultaneously putting distance between herself and anything Ferro, she seeks comfort in old friends. Just when Gina believes she has her emotions in check and a game plan in place, she's blindsided by an encounter with Peter himself. After a passionate altercation, Gina is more confused than ever. Completely torn between following her heart or her head, she opts for the latter choice, naïvely launching herself directly into the line of fire.
It's beyond bittersweet to know we're so close to the end. I know Peter exist after Gina, but I've grown so attached to her strong, sassy and hysterically quick witted personality that I can't imagine losing her. I'm caught in a state of limbo where I simply cannot wait for the next installment, while at the same time wishing I could prolong it just a little longer. Well done H.M. Ward! This is definitely another epic installment to the series!!
Oh My God
Finally! It was just a great read. It's what everybody has been waiting for right. I'm just excited to see the next book THEN again I'm not. HM Ward is my favorite author.
