Sneaky tear jerking book wow!
The best English romance book i have ever read!👏🏾
Mixed Emotions…
First of all I found that the content warning at the beginning of the book is insufficient. It didn’t prepare me for the amount of emotional abuse that happens, and it happens way too deep in the book. And although there’s a happy ending it’s completely unsatisfying because there’s no distance between the trauma and the resolution.
Aside from the formal tone of the book- lack of conjunctions, I found the change in surname of the hero sloppy.
With that being said, I do love the characters and will be reading the other books because I’m invested in them. It’s easy enough to switch “I am” with “I’m” and so on while reading as annoying as it is because the characters are well developed and relatable.

I love the development of the plot and the ending. It’s hard to believe the story line but the author made you escape reality with the plot!
