The Beauty of a Patchwork Family

This book uses Ingrid's life as examples of how divorce can be seen as an opportunity.  She takes you through her experiences of growing up primarily with her Dad in the suburbs and then spending weekends with her Mom in Manhattan.  Ingrid finds beauty in friendships she develops with step-parents, experiences she receives due to additional family members, and the undivided attention she receives from her natural parents.  After a career spent on Wall St. and as a Civil Engineer, she now attributes the freedom she has to build a business in the yoga industry to the opportunities she was given as a child.
