Only one man can help her, and though it might destroy him, he doesn't mind. Better to die than be the walking wounded.

Enchanting Story

The Big Goodbye is the first of Michael Lister's Big Series featuring jimmy Solider Riley. So far there are 5 books in this series. I am so glad to know this because as soon as I finished the first one, I wanted more. I am now on the second and have purchased all available. This author is extraordinary. He captures the essence of 1940's wartime in the south, specifically the Florida panhandle beautifully. His characters are smart , funny and gorgeously flawed. Real human beings. The story is enchanting and suspenseful from beginning to end.
