Customer Reviews
Looking forward to the newest edition, but severely disappointed…
Informative, but will not be rating higher due to constantly throughout the book not referring to pregnant women as women, but instead referring to them as a “birthing person”. The author does not refer to a child’s mother, but instead refers to the “birthing parent”. This book is supposed to be there to support women throughout birth and pregnancy. However, it is blatantly disrespectful to what women and mothers go through. Women are not “Birthing persons” we are pregnant women and mothers.
