Icing on the BDB series collection
I had a hard time finding a physical copy of this book but I finally got it and finished it the same day. It’s not a novel it’s more like information about every single male vampire in the series. It also shares information on the females. The short story or novel is about the emotional struggle Zsadist he experienced when Bella was pregnant with their daughter. It was truly a beautiful thing to see how far Z has come from the first time he’s mentioned in a book. Of course, once Bella is born he has to face old demons that he thought had been slayed. Trauma never goes away completely and Ward did a wonderful job of showing the ups and downs, that Z lives through as a survivor of rape, and kidnapping. She goes into such detail that I could relate and empathize with Zsadist. It’s a quick read and it’s not necessary to read it to keep up with the series but it’s definitely a bonus read like I said, just more delicious icing on the sexy cake that is the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series.

This is most definitely a must-have if you love The Black Dagger Brotherhood!!! The bonus novella of Zsadist & Bella is fantastic, and the main reason I bought the insiders guide!!! Lover Awakened is my all time favorite book, of any series I've ever read and anytime J. R. Ward writes about them, I soak it up like a sponge!!!
