Marvelous story, but ...

If you are already a Georgette Heyer fan, you will enjoy this. If you have never read any of her books, this is probably not the place to start. It is her first, and she got better. Try The Grand Sophy or These Old Shades for a couple of her most brilliant, although the quieter ones like False Colors are also a delight.

But I can't recommend this edition. Formatting errors, missing words and punctuation at the end of sentences, captions for missing illustrations, and the odd use of hyphens make this edition very hard to read. The biography at the end was very interesting. I guess that was worth the dollar.
