Not much new here
Pedestrian definitions of “life” found in children’s school books for more than a century seem as serviceable as what the author provides. Agreed, Darwin’s theory is brilliant, but it applies to life after it has formed. The author adds little on how life originates and how it differs from non-living things. Noble attempt nevertheless.
