Gem of a book
What a sweet book! I enjoyed this book so much… from the old fashioned tone of the era in which it was written, to the hilarious description of the Stirling family cast of characters. It’s beautifully written, and the end- though not a complete surprise- justified having rooted for the heroine Valancy all throughout the story.
I’d give it 10 stars.
