A sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely
Read the book RT Book Reviews gave 4.5 stars: "It's impossible not to fall utterly in love with the humor and passion between her tempting, talented hero and remarkably resilient heroine. New readers and longtime fans: Don't miss this newest success."
They say all's fair in love and music...
I say life would be a lot fairer if I wasn't so wildly attracted to the man I'm spending all my days with, who's decidedly off-limits.
But then again, I can't technically complain—I have a Grammy, a hit album, and a job most people would be envious of—I'm a rock star. What I haven't had in years is a hot date. The dating drought isn't because I'm a single mom. It's because I have a little itty-bitty issue with trust because of how my marriage imploded.
Matthew is determined to break down my walls, and it sure doesn't hurt that he's British, witty, and far too tempting. He's also the toughest music journalist out there, and he's interviewing me for an in-depth article. The trouble is, I want to get in-depth with him, and the more time we spend together, the more tempted we both are to cross lines that shouldn't be crossed.
Previously released as Far Too Tempting (October 2013), now updated for a new readership!
Wonderful romance focusing on trust and love. And if you are a fan of rock music, you'll enjoy it even more. 😊
Far Too Tempting. FANTASTIC!! A MUST READ!!!
I have been a fan of Lauren Blakely for a while, but this book... WOW!
Characters are well defined. Plot is intriguing i.e. hot male music critic AND beautiful female song writer/ singer/ single parent (of a very intelligent, funny, interesting son) = love + sex + rock & roll.
So many books I read are great until the ending. The endings of other writer's books are often too quick, done without the same effort level as the rest of the book, or somehow leave me feeling as if "This is it? That's all? Did I miss a few pages?" I feel letdown.
However, with the way Lauren sets the stage, tells the story, and adds the perfect ending, I could not ask for more.
I highly recommend this stand alone book. Which honestly, I did not think could be pulled all together into such a perfectly spectacular ending with so few pages left to read.
I'm a huge fan of Lauren's books. I have read every single one and pre ordered all that is coming up. This book however is so excruciatingly boring that I couldn't even finish it. I really wanted to like it. I even patiently waited for the "zing" I got from her other books but it wasn't there.. I hate that I have to write this poor review but please save yourself the few dollars and pass on this one.
