Maine game warden Mike Bowditch and retired game warden Charley Stevens are approached by a couple who had recently moved nearby who are concerned about someone entering their house and rearranging furniture, and at another time leaving a sex doll with its throat slashed.The husband is from England and the wife is a refugee from Afghanistan. She was sexually assaulted by a man employed at a foster care facility in America. A man she interviewed to look after their house was in fact the man who assaulted her. The clever plan to build her house in Maine and interview her molester was whole a clever plan to kill him. Revenge. A very unique read!! Enjoyed!!
