It is the story of Faith and how it works in ones life. For those who already had Faith and those who had none but needed to learn it the story leads the reader through the trials of 4 Sisters who fall on hard times and learn to work their way through the trials. The Dane sisters have been kicked out of their home due to a sneaky cousin. He swooped down on their aunt just before she died and convinced her to change her will. Agatha, Clare, Gwen, and Elfie make their way out to the country to live in a meager home.
