The Centaur

Terence O’Malley, a man sensitive to nature and spiritual forces, uncovers a startling, extraordinary secret. On encountering an intriguingly attractive man and his son on his travels, O’Malley finds himself unwittingly bewitched by them. Unable to tear himself away, O’Malley is delighted to discover that all three will be sharing a cabin as they journey by ship. Yet even as he is entranced by them, out of the corner of his eye, O’Malley begins to wonder if the shapes of these men are more fluid than seems possible. A fellow traveler, Dr Stahl, seems to grasp the wonderfully impossible truth, enlightening them to forces beyond the imagination.
