The Complete Guide to Real Estate Finance for Investment Properties
As an architect in the process of developing my first commercial project, I am well versed in the planning, design, construction, and operations of a project development. This book is like a treasure trove of financial information. You get "ooohhh, that's how it works" moments all the time. I just started reading it, and granted, if you are a pro in finance, you may not need this book, but if you are somebody like me trying get started in commercial Real Estate development, this book is fantastic.
I’m shocked at the 1-stars - This is an Essential Book for all Small-Medium Sized Investors
I can’t imagine why anyone would one-star this book. It was written in 2004, and while that may seem dated (there has been something of a correction to the market since then), the material in this book is timeless. Basic principles on how to understand the financial aspects of investment properties and how a small-to-medium size investor should focus on the structure of their financing to increase their profitability. Straight and honest material that is clearly discussed without the snake oil of most real estate investment books -
