The Cowboy Cookie Challenge is book 13 in the Twilight Texas series by Lori Wilde and another great read!
This is an age gap romance between young Jazzy and Roan 10 years older, a widower with a 4 yr old daughter Jazzy takes care of after her surgery. Sparks fly from the beginning but Roan feels he is to old for her.
What happens next will keep you turning the pages, wanting to slap someone up side the head, who’s more mature, childhood rivalry, sparks, romance and so much more.
Feel good Christmas story
I understand that this is #13 in the series, the 1st I have read and thought it was a standalone. It’s a feel good Christmas story in the small town of Twilight, TX. Jazzy is a pediatric nurse who is Ms. positivity, always looking for the good in everyone and everything. Roan is still trying to get over his wife’s death two years ago, raising their adorable 4 year old daughter. He crosses paths with Jazzy when his daughter is admitted into the hospital for a tonsillectomy. Jazzy heart goes out to the sad handsome looking cowboy and debates how to bring a smile to his face.
Both characters have some past baggage and the is a 10 year age difference to overcome. A fast read, typical holiday HEA story, wished they shared some of the cookie recipes.
