Best friends for life. That was their pact.
Feisty, spitfire Hannah Prescott yearns to get the bulls she raises to the top rodeo circuit finals. Being a woman in a male-dominated career means she fights harder for what she wants, and romance plays no part in her goals. But when everything's on the line and her best friend asks her to play pretend, what's a girl to do?
Sexy, life of the party cowboy Cody McCall is determined to save the legacy of his family’s ranch and give his beloved, widowed grandfather something to live for again. Options are limited until he hits on the perfect plan–pretending to marry the girl who’s been his confidante and friend all these years. After stealing sweet kisses with Hannah, Cody starts to dream of something more permanent...if he can only convince Hannah to agree that the move from friendship to marriage is worth the fight. He wants a forever bride, but there's only one cowgirl he desires.

The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride (The McCall Brothers Book 1) by Laurie Le Clair
This is Hannah Prescott and Cody McCall's story.
Hannah and Cody have been best friends for years. They each have their own issues that they are working through. Due to a situation they end up in a fake engagement. Now, you will have to read it to find out. During their fake engagement they start crossing the friendship line. Will their fake engagement change from fake to real?
If you enjoy a sweet romance, then you will enjoy their story. I
voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
No need to read
It’s bad. Not believable. Stupid nicknames. Silly situations. Not romantic. Not comedic. Not sure what this story is trying to achieve but nothing works.
The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride
I loved this story. The characters are adorable & funny & the romance is sweet. My husband, adult kids, grandkids & I are all "New Texans" & I love reading stories based on people living in Texas & their lives here even if it is just fiction.
