PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Richardson's debut packs a powerful emotional punch. Chicago executive Avery King has just broken up with her boyfriend rather publicly, and she needs to leave town quickly. She heads to Aspen, Colo., where Bryce Walker's family ranch is on her to-buy list. Bryce has no interest in selling; he's still mourning his wife's death, and all he wants to do is cling to his heritage. Expecting to charm Bryce out of his property, Avery is the one who ends up surprised when she falls deeply in love with the rugged widower. As she empathizes with Bryce, Avery battles with her father, who is determined to acquire the land at any cost. Richardson's deft characterization creates a hero and heroine who will elicit laughs in some places and tears in others.

No Better Man
This small-town mountain love story is a perfect summertime beach read. Romance readers will flip for chapter 22. Avery King is smart, rich and a great softball player to boot. But she seeks more than the high-powered executive life she has lived under her father’s reign as a Chicago real estate tycoon. What Avery needs is Bryce Walker and his tight-knit middle America community seated in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This book is as much a love story between two people as it is a new romance with an old way of life. Charming and fun! Can’t wait for October when Richardson’s next book in her Heart of the Rockies series comes out: Something Like Love.
An amazing romance!
